Irrational generosity starts with the heart.

Join us in our mission to see changed lives in our community and around the world. Your generosity is helping people experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus.

We are truly grateful for your donation and hope the convenience and simplicity of online giving will be helpful to you.

What a year, a season, and a joy to see all God has done in our lives and church this year, and yet still, we believe the very best is yet to come here at Plum Creek!

As we always do, when a year draws to a close, we bring into focus our budget goals, and with 2023 almost in the rearview mirror, we’re asking each of us to prayerfully consider helping us finish the year well and start strong in 2024.

Maybe you have just begun giving at Plum Creek or have never given to a church before. Perhaps you made a faith-filled gift to our One Day giving initiative and yet, still desire to be increasingly generous this Christmas.

Your year-end gift will help Plum Creek Church finish 2023 well, leading us to a strong start in 2024. Your year-end giving to the general fund would be a huge blessing towards making our budget, I am full of faith and very excited to see all God has in store as we end the year strong and head into 2024 together! Please pray with me as we close out this year and prepare for the year ahead.

Thank you for your irrational generosity!

Changed lives by the numbers.

Numbers are inherently impersonal; however, around here, every number represents life change in our community and around the globe. And that’s something worth celebrating with our 2022 Annual Report!

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
— Malachi 3:10-11 (NLT)

What does giving mean?

Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.

How do I prepare to give?

Giving should never be taken lightly, so it’s awesome that you would want to prepare your heart for this essential act of worship. We also believe that preparing to give dones’t have to be complicated. It can be as easy as knowing your abc's.

Assess:
What are you currently giving? Does it reflect your priorities?

Believe:
Will you trust what God is putting on your heart?

Commit:
When will you start your giving plan and participate in what God is doing?

What should I give?

The question of “Ok, so what am I supposed to give?” is probably the most common question we receive when it comes to giving. It is also a completely fair and understandable question. Therefore, we have set out to provide a simple, yet profound direction in this regard.

Priority:
Give first. Save second. Live on the rest. This means prioritizing God first. Make giving the #1 priority in your budget every month. This can be simplified greatly by setting up a giving schedule online.

Percentage:
Pick a percentage of your income that you will prioritize to God each month and give it consistently.

Progressive:
As you continue to build trust in God that your needs will be provided for, continue to challenge the percentage of your income you are prioritizing for God. We believe that this is a catalyst for growth in faith and suggest that you do this at least annually.

Prompted:
This means that we should be prepared to give above and beyond our normal prioritized giving when prompted by the Holy Spirit.

Giving FAQ’s

  • The fact that you are asking that question is awesome! There is no definitive answer, so we encourage you to talk to God about how He wants you to calculate your tithe.
