God's Plan

December 30-31

For those who follow Jesus, one of the big questions we all ask at various times of our life is, “God, what is your plan for my life?” Too often this feels like a mystery. What if God’s answer supersedes the question, but still meets us in the specifics of what we are facing? That’s what God’s plan for us is all about.

God's Plan For The New Year

December 30-31 / Gary Partridge

If you had a chance to ask God one question, what would you ask Him?

Have you ever asked the question, “God, what should I do with my life?” What was going on in your life during that time?

Read Colossians 3:1-4. Our Main Thought this past weekend was: Christ is my life. What does it mean for Christ to be your life rather than just a part of your life?

For the follower of Jesus, the Bible promises God’s Spirit will be in us. Our assignment this week was to ask the question for 7 days, “God, what should I do with your life that is within me?” How is that a better question than, “God, what should I do with my life?” Did you try the assignment? If so, how is it going?

This past weekend we said the focus of our life is not the future, the focus of our life is a person, Jesus. How have you seen your personal relationship with Jesus lead you to the future he has for you? What is the biggest challenge for you in allowing that to happen?

Pray for one another that Christ would be our life!
